"LIGHT DESIGN" PROGRAM PRESENTATION AND GRANT COMPETITION RESULTS
"Light design" program of additional professional education in MARCH since 2016 has been dealing with training of specialists in lighting design who are to posess technical knowledge, information in the field of architecture and urban planning, skills of complex design of the light environment. The program has brought together the best specialists in the field of lighting design: all tutors are practicing Russian and foreign light designers, architects and engineers, while program partners include leading manufacturers and suppliers of lighting equipment.

# MARCH RECOMMENDS. TIMUR VAKHITOV’S BOOKLIST
As we see it, one of the main hallmarks of being an architect - is to have broad-based knowledge. And books, as we well know, contribute to its broadening and help to establish a link between architectural education and cultural context.
We asked Timur Vakhitov, a tutor of the “Professional basics” module at the evening preparatory course and a truly broad-minded person, to share a list of recommended reading - today we publish only a tiny part of it. You will probably have enough time to read one of these books before the end of October and the start of the preparatory course.
MARCH TO PRESENT ITS EXPOSITION AT THE ARCH MOSCOW
MARСH school of Architecture pavilion at the Arch Moscow is a continuation of the annual "MARShow" exhibition of student projects .
This year "MARShow" moved to the virtual domain, yet the pavilion in Gostiny Dvor remains quite material. The exhibition curators: Daria Karmazina, Nikolai Yugai and Daniil Narinsky were faced with the question of transferring digital space to a physical one. To represent digital substance beyond the confines of devices, they used holograms.
PORTFOLIO REVIEW AT MOSBUILD
From March 30 to April 2, 2021, IEC Crocus Expo will host the largest international exhibition of construction and finishing materials in Russia, MosBuild.
For the third consecutive year, MARCH becomes a partner of the MosBuild business program. As part of a special day for young architects, we are to hold a Portfolio Review at the exhibition.
MARCH OPENS ITS "ANATOMY OF STRUCTURES" EXHIBITION IN "ON SHABOLOVKA” GALLERY
From March 18 to May 23, 2021, the "On Shabolovka" Gallery is hosting an exhibition of MARCH - "Anatomy of structures". The exhibition is based on the results of the same name course run at MARCH Bachelor's Degree, dedicated in the 2019-2020 to the study of outstanding works of engineering art at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. All materials are created by students and tutors of MARCH.
PANASONIC RUSSIA TO BECOME A PARTNER OF THE “EXHIBITION DESIGN” PRO COURSE
The spring of 2021 will see MARCH starting its "Exhibition Design" PRo intensive course. The course will be helpful for already practicing and future architects, designers, artists, art historians, curators, producers and managers in the field of culture, workers of museums, galleries and exhibition centers, as well as specialists who are going to devote themselves to museum and exhibition activities.
GILYAROVSKY CENTER TO BECOME A PARTNER OF THE “EXHIBITION DESIGN” PRO COURSE
On March 27, it starts the "Exhibition Design" PRO intensive course. The course provides an opportunity to "try on" different professions from the production chain of exhibition creating: architect, lighting designer, marketer, curator, producer. During the three months of study, students will complete exhibition projects for real sites: individually and in groups. One of these sites will become the Gilyarovsky Center.
